The innkeeper Chris was so warm and intentional and present, making us feel welcome. He also stayed up personally make sure we could get in very late at night, helped us plan around the marathon so we still had a stellar couple days. We stayed in October, and we loved the fire pit and live music with drinks and snacks!

Absolutely loved our stay here! What a quaint, beautiful little spot, and the location could not have been better! Loved being able to walk to town with ease. The staff was beyond friendly and the breakfast every morning was 5 star restaurant quality good! The snacks were also delicious. I would stay here again and again!!

We loved our stay. The inn was beautiful, staff friendly & attentive, breakfast was delicious, location was excellent- steps away from all Bar Harbor has to offer. The room was a bit small but all of the other wonderful touches outweighed that, and we werent in it much anyway! Loved the nightly desserts and bonfire on the patio.

If you like a beautiful Victorian home that has been carefully updated with happy, quirky, stylish decor, an excessively cozy mattress, pristine room, granite firepits, being .2 seconds away from the sandbar itself and a quick walk to downtown, lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote served to you wherever you wander off to on the front porch in the morning, a briefly overwhelming sense that you need to become an innkeeper on Mt. Desert Island after talking with friendly, helpful, thoughtful Innkeep Chris, and manager Joshua, you will very much love this place. Genuinely, I'm not a B&B person, but based on this one experience I now want to be 70 years old, retired, bopping around B&Bs and eating insanely good muffins and crispy potatoes and saying, "ooh this is lovely," with my mouth full. We left the day of hurricane/(post-tropical-cyclone) Lee and they were planning an storm-watch afternoon of indoor games, extra tea/snacks, and a zesty happy hour and I regret missing it more than I should. Essentially: STAY HERE and also -- thank you to Chris and all for a lovely stay!
