No customer service, snappy attitudes. Was just wondering why when you have to pay in full, I received a bill. The woman's explanation was sparse, rude and then she rushed me off the phone when I tried to ask questions for better understanding. Wow. Horrible company. The bill was because I hadn't gotten a propane delivery in 2023- I have a 20 gallon tank for cooking only.. So you mean to tell me if I don't use up all of my propane within a year I'm penalized?! So SOO bogus! The charge is more than the price of 1/2 of a full tank!

Terrible service from this business. You get told untrue statements routinely from the company. I do not recommend this business.

Very unfriendly customer service rep. I called them 8/25/23 and was told that they will call me back in 24/48 hours to set up propane delivery. I had to call them again because three weeks have gone by. I spoke with a Laura who was very unfriendly and not easy to talk to. She pretty much told me that everything that was said to me during my previous Aug call was not true. Downeast Energy charges you for everything. And I mean every little thing. I asked to speak to a supervisor and pretty much was not allowed to do so. Downeast Energy is out to make a Buck and they will find a way to get as much money as they can from you. Crooks and unfriendly

Terrible company. Questionable metering of proprane. No one at this company was helpful, or even pleasant. Switching companies, at great expense, but worth it.
