Coast Village Inn and Cottages

This is a DUMP masquerading as an inn. If you enjoy clean accommodations with hot water, heat and working internet and TV, then DO NOT STAY HERE. Cottages are filthy, run-down and in desperate need of repair and maintenance.

We had a cottage with no hot water, towel rack in bathroom fell apart when trying to hang a towel on the rack, toilet seat coming off, Air conditioning was lousy. All for 408.00 dollars terrible.

I love the quaintness of it. It was clean. I am grateful for the fridge and microwave in the room. However, this is an older motel. If you need a cpap, bring an adapter becasue not all outlets have three prongs. The internet was inaccessible unless in the parking lot. We are in town for a family event and the organization my husband works for is having their triennial convention and he has to stay on top of the news in case dsamage congtrol is needed. For us, this is a huge inconvenience. This was also one of the lower priced place sin the area.

AWFUL! STAY AWAY!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. -NO WIFI even if advertised (they say connection is better at the front desk ... I wish that would have been true at least) -Remotes do not work for TV in either rooms -You can't adjust your bedroom air conditioning on your own, maintenance guy keeps them -Filthy -Most lightbulbs burnt -Outdated website pictures -unhelpful front desk even if they mention to ring for an emergency past hours (8:30pm) -extremely expensive -mold and dust causing issues breathing at night -no functional fridge -extreme lack of maintenance 1 star simply because the cleaning maid was super nice and helpful and pool is quite nice They say it is family owned hence why all this. At the end of the day, if maintenance is something that you are unable to do, maybe its a sign to sell the place and do something else. I try to see the positive in everything but the overall experience was terrible. I sure hope that they take ownership in the near future and get this place up to its full potential
