we had a bad experience with J. Gordon last october . We had a problem with our fisher panda generator. It was sucking air in the fuel line. so i reach to them since they are the fisher pander dealer in annapolis. fist the tech come to my boat on the mooring witch is very good. But the probleme is the tech spend 30 min ( charge me 1.5 hrs ) on my boat and tell me thats a return valve is defective. so we arrange the parts to be deliver rush . 2 days later we receive the parts instal and same problem. so the tech come back to the boat to continue the diag after 5 hours . he decide to call the manufacture of the generetor and explain the situation whitt in few minute the guy from fisher panda tell my tech that the routing of the fuel was not in the good order . so he re-route the fuel line propely and it fix the problem. I know when we work on a probleme like this that it take time to test and find the problem. my concern is when you pay 155$/hrs is the technician already have that basic knowlege to fix the generator. an experience technician would have seen that the routing was not god and fix it in 1-3 hrs . When you pay a expensive labour rate is not for the tech to learn. So they charge me for the wrong diagnostic and the parts thats was not needed. a big 1200$ . i did reach to them to see if it was possible to have a arrangement 2 time . as of December we did not receive update. it is very poor customer service. i strongly recommande to call the other fisher panda shop in annapolis : KARLS MARINE ENGINE SERVICE INC since one of our friend as work done on is boat and was completely satisfied . again i dont wanna pay for the formation of your tech. Never again.

Brian did a great job communicating back and forth with us and setting up a time for someone to come install our Raritan Vacu flush system and Oscar did an awesome job installing the new system and everything was nice and clean when he was finished Highly recommend their service and will definitely use them again soon. I recently had some major keel work completed on my boat along with various other sailboat repairs. The work done by J Gordon and the staff was outstanding. Marshall, Brian and Chris were very accommodating and great to work with. I would highly recommend putting J Gordon on the top of the list for any and all sailboat repair and maintenance work.

We needed help with our air conditioning. Mike got on, figured out the issue, and solved it quickly and professionally. Service Manager called within an hour to make sure everything was still operating properly. Nice follow-up!
