Fantastic experience at The Mount BJJ & MMA! As someone who travels often, finding a reliable and welcoming gym can be tough, but The Mount exceeded all expectations. I had the privilege of visiting the facility in Mount Airy and Urbana. The cleanliness of the facilities is consistent as well as the environment in each. Coach Jim is very knowledgeable and passionate about martial arts and that is translated through his teachings. It doesnt matter what your experience is coming to the gym, you will be welcomed and feel comfortable and like a part of the team right away. I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone (adult & kids) wanting to learn self defense, compete, or for fitness.

Incredible. The instructors are always positive and are extremely knowledgeable. They offer a class for every intensity so you can start with fundamentals and move up when you feel ready or just jump right into it. They also offer a wide variety of classes such as MMA, Jiu-jitsu, and Judo.

Offer varies of self defense programs jiu jitsu, MMA, wrestling etc. Kids classes always have games and activities to make the kids fun while getting to learn skills. Facilities are clean. The best in South Frederick
