Holiday Inn Express Waldorf, an IHG Hotel

There was only one clerk-on a Friday night-to take reservations, answer phones, check guests in etc.. she was trying her best but, at one point, there were 6 people waiting in line. The ice cream, which we wanted to purchase from the convenience shop by the front desk, literally started melting while we awaited to purchase it. The line never moved in the 15 minutes that we waited. We out the ice cream back. There were no towel bars in the room-just one hook to hang 2 towels. The vent fan in the bathroom sounded like we were in an airplane hangar and the vent ABSOLUTELY FILTHY-just thick with dust. ZOOM in on photos. There were no spare towels to be had and we did nit receive a welcome amenity (as diamond elite members) at check-in. Definitely not worth $150/night and will not stay there again. Staff needs to be increased for busy times. Needless to say, there was no security. So, when someone was having fun knocking on random doors at 10 p.m., we had no recourse. NOT up to IHG standards

The room was clean and well stocked. Besides the bouts of noise it was a two night stay pleasant.

Very dated hotel. Stains on carpet. Clean but old. First room smelled like wet dog. Pool was unavailable , equipment in weight room was broken, no overnight maintenance man either.

Rooms: We have only had 1 bad room on our noumours stays. And it was because the people in the room next to us were smoking. All in all the rooms are clean and nice. Unlimited shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, & hand soap. Services: Never had bad service. They are always very accommodating, nice, and friendly. Location: This location is like 10 mins from the people we are visiting, so it is perfect for us. Nearby activities: This hotel is in the middle of everything and close to everything.
