Hampton Inn Waldorf

Great hotel for the price. Free extensive and fresh breakfast. Good service. Too dry rooms though but you can add a paper napkin on the exhaust to resolve it.

This hotel was clean and all staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the usual food that Hampton offers. The hot food was truly hot and the area was clean. The room I was in could use a bit of repair but honestly it was not that big a deal. The faucet in the bathroom was hard to turn on and off. When it did turn on it turned on hard and sprayed the counter and mirror (the counter had been re-caulked so this has obviously been an ongoing problem). The shower head was super high and I am short and could not change the spray. Also, the register cover kept coming off partially and I could see that the inside was dusty and needed to be cleaned. One other thing to note. I don't think that the staff walks the halls at night as there was definitely a smell of marijuana from one of the nearby rooms which wafted into the hallway and my room for two of the nights I was there.

I stay in a lot of hotels traveling for business. This place was ok and pretty average but the door did not lock. The "maintenance guy" just straight walked into my room one evening. no knock or nothing. Once he realized i was in there he backed out and told me he was there to fix the AC. i didn't have any issues or call anyone so he said he might have the wrong room. I don't even know if he worked there, it was just a guy in a hoodie. There was toilet paper stuffed into the peep hole since that was broken too. i definitely would not stay here again.
