Did my application over the phone, called around 11AM and waited an hour to no response then gave up. Called at 8:55AM and I was speaking to someone with 5 minutes they took all my information and asked if I had paystubs I could submit and they would review them then over the phone, incredibly helpful. Went in to pickup a card around 2PM the next day, the employees were polite and I got my card without a problem. Government tasks always take a lot of time and can be stressful, by far the easiest experience I've had with a government agency.

Everyone Ive ever spoken to on the phone has always been helpful, polite and very caring. Ive never had a bad moment on the phone with anyone, but its just so hard to reach someone. It takes a long time before I can get a hold of anyone especially when I really really need help. The DTA app needs to be updated as well. Theres not much you can do there. I cant click and the see documents Ive sent in and it doesnt specify what document is incomplete or missing so I have to guess. I think with speaking on the phone maybe a chat box would be convenient for some people. All in all DTA will help it just takes a while.
