I needed a haircut on a Monday and Corner Barbershop was open. I walked in and was seated immediately by Ahmed, the sole proprietor. He gave me a high-quality haircut with great attention to detail. What surprised me most was the goatee trim and straight razor shave. I didn't ask for it, but I sure appreciated it. Ahmed ended the haircut by rubbing Vaseline on his hands and rubbing it on my face, then placing a steaming towel on my face. He massaged my face, wiped it clean with the towel and then gave me a very close shave. What a great experience! The shop is a bright, clean place with plenty of seating, and a TV. He has a sterilizing machine, which is reassuring. My haircut/shave took about 40 minutes, so if you're not first, count on a long wait. Great haircut. The amount of time Ahmad spent perfecting the cut really shows he cares. Can't beat his prices either. I highly recommend and will be returning.
