**EDIT** The General Manager reached out via email and apologized profusely for the issues. He kindly issued a partial credit for my stay. He also recommended that I directly reach out to him prior to our next stay there, and he will personally work with us and upgrade our room to a suite. We were impressed with the response and the resolution, and will give this location another chance. -2/13/2024
It was clear that THE SHEETS HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED FROM THE PRIOR GUEST. This was evident based on the many hairs that I found on both pillowcases on one side of the bed. The flat sheet on that same side was also extremely wrinkled. The other side of the bed did not have any hairs, and the flat sheet and pillowcases were crisp/clean, and without all of the wrinkles.
Based on this, I requested a partial refund from Ann at the front desk, but this request was denied, because I had booked the room via a third-party app.
Aside from some areas on the rug that clearly had not been vacuumed (debris under the desk and near the window), the rug is in good shape. Its pattern is 24"x24" squares, that they probably are able to swap out if one gets ripped or stained. Good idea for a high traffic area like a hotel.
The bathroom was large and updated, and had definitely been cleaned.
The heat/air-conditioning unit is an older design, the type that is mounted under the window, with the temperature controlled from the wall. The room smelled a bit stuffy, even a bit like mold, when I entered the room, and even after running the vent unit throughout the night (on 67 degrees). I advised the front desk that it probably needs some Lysol or another type of cleaning.
Without traffic, the hotel was only 20 minutes from where I needed to be for Friday and Saturday, so the location was ideal. But as a person whose very first job (32 years ago) was in the hospitality/hotel business, the experience was more than disappointing.
We are usually big fans of Hilton properties, but not this particular one, and we won't stay at this location again.

The water in this hotel (room that we stayed) was so dry, I couldnt wash my hands. They have every good shampoo and vanity products but water ;(. The pool is fantastic. The mattress and pillows are firm and keeping your back in a good shape. The breakfast is both various and sufficient. Recommend, hopefully they will install a water filter or change the water quality.
