Hotel was very clean. Staff was great. Only complaint was that there is alot of highway traffic.
Few restaurants within walking distance but many within a shirt drive.

If you want a good night's sleep. This is NOT the place for you.
All rooms with 2 beds are in the highway side and very very noisy. Even on the top floor. I had ear plugs and a pillow over my head and traffic almost the entire not.
Perhaps the other side of the hotel with single beds is better.
Nice up to date hotel but noise pollution kills it!!!!!

We were very happy with our stay at the Waltham Fairfield. It's in a great location near the freeway and a Costco (snack run!). Yes, there is some road noise (our room faced the highway) but the room fan/AC covered it fairly well, my family also always travels with a white noise fan too. No concerns with sleep.
We were really impressed with the updated decor, the roomy layout (2 queen room) and the bathroom design. It was a really comfortable stay overall and our favorite hotel out of the 4 we stayed in on a long road trip. Beds were clean and comfy.
The breakfast was really well done with many options and very nice seating area.
The staff were also very attentive and helpful.
We used this hotel as a launch point for travels to both Boston and some local colleges and found it to be an easy spot to navigate.
