On Point Krav Maga

A couple of things make OPKM in Waltham stand out: teach defense and offense and emphasize most efficient way to do them. I feel it is more useful in real life. They have variety of classes to choose. The amount of work in classes are quite good. You will sweat after the class and feel fulfilled. They also offer relevant seminars occasionally. Most important of all, they have excellent coaches and positive environment. Nic and his instructor team are always encouraging and being patient with everyone. They have adults and teen classes. Women and men come from different backgrounds. People are quite nice and very supportive for each other.

Not only do you have a great instructor that does a very good job explaining new movements but the community he has created will keep you coming back. As someone who primarily runs and might not be in class for weeks on end, coming back to practice is like I have never left.

Nick is a great example of a down to earth no BS instructor. The techniques and the way they are practiced always have a clear, well explained with examples and demos, reasons behind them. There are no belts, no McDojo feel, no power trips, no senseless magic and poses. The folks who come to practice represent a wide variety of backgrounds, professions and characters but everyone is smart, respectful and accepting. I hope to practice there for years to come.
