Boston Best Rate Movers

Im surprised these guys have have high reviews. They charged $2k for a 70 mile move (felt high?), AND they hide a 5% credit card penalty. Dont have $2k cash on you? Be prepared to pay $100 for the penalty. The front office made an error on my address, and when I called to get it corrected they hung up on me three times. The head mover was a jerk in the morning but mellowed out by the afternoon. His team was awesome though - good guys with great energy. I wish I could just have worked with them. They did a great job wrapping and protecting the furniture, and doing it quickly. Overall, felt expensive, cheated, and disrespected by the leadership. Way too much chaos. Would recommend a less-known company.

This company goes above and beyond without adding cost! The employees are friendly and efficient at packing. They take VERY good care of items. They moved an upright piano from a split-level living room to the 2nd floor of a condo townhome charging a very reasonable amount - far less than expected or quoted by other companies. After 11 hours of work, we wanted to tip each of the movers. They got together and agreed to decline our tips!! Amazing group! Marvel was the team lead. My comment was that he was Marvel-ous!! He and his team absolutely rocked our move, I would highly recommend this company and would uuse them again, if needed.

All staff of Boston Best Rate Movers, whom I spoke with and came to help our moves twice in a row recently, were extremely professional; friendly, swift with care in dealing with sturdy furniture. They made our life so much easier by completing those tedious / strenuous moves in no time at very reasonable rate for that much work load.
