Go from smith LN near Brattle shop not by ash st. Have small parking area not sure even if it's park area or someone backward. I love it by the way. If you go red trail you will find wooden bridge and if you follow blue trail you will old structure.

Great quick hike. The red and yellow tails will be hard to connect back to the blue trails when the water in the stream is high. It's only a concern if you have young kids. There's an old earthen dam and mill foundation along the blue trail. The blue trail also stays just downhill off an active rail line.

A basic woods walk with an poorly maintained old fire road which will be muddy in wet conditions. There are some stone walls and other medium sized boulders scattered throughout the woods. It's a dog friendly walk in the suburbs of Worcester but parking is limited to 3 spaces. The Red Trail seems to go no where, or has been so infrequent traveled that it has become overgrown. There is a wooden bridge crossing a brook that leads to a few stone walls but there is very little to see after that.
