The Avalon of Bloomfield Township

I applied for a job here and was called by a member of management to discuss my credentials and experience. The woman that called me spoke to me in a way that I feel was condescending and unprofessional. Her tone of voice and demeanor was not friendly. She made several rude comments to me while I was discussing my work experience. I'm not sure why she called me to discuss my credentials and experience if she felt my resume was not a good match for what this company was looking for. As unprofessional as I was spoken to, I now see why this facility is hiring. This is not a place that I'd ever want to be employed by.

Hi, Ill like to state that some co workers here have some messed up attitudes and very stubborn, show no sign of consideration, theyll help but catch a attitude right after, and go gossip instead coming into one and regardless of the outcome still remain peace and humble, love but some things can not be fixed.

Avalon Assisted Living has truly been a blessing for my mom and our family. We moved our mom in 3 years ago, after she suffered a stroke and became paralyzed on her right side. When we moved her in the facility was under a different name and management. Before Matt took over as the manager the facility had some issues, I won't get into that because it's not the point, but I would never recommend them at that time. But Matt has made an incredible turnaround. My mother has been showered with attention, care, and respect by Avalon's staff; they are always patient with her despite how difficult it can be to help her with everyday activities such as showering, changing, and using the bathroom. Despite her physical challenges, my mother still has a sharp mind and she tells me daily how much she loves Avalon's staff. Matt has shown remarkable dedication to Avalon and has gone above and beyond many times. My family greatly appreciates Matt and the team at Avalon of Bloomfield.
