Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills

Sunrise has a wonderful staff of directly-employed people. However, it still relies too heavily on agency fill-ins to provide adequate caregiver services to its Memory Care residents. The agency fill-ins do not provide for continuity of quality care.

I have a friend on the memory care floor here and she gets very good care. I am there quite often and all the staff are so friendly and ready to help if you need anything. This is a beautiful facility with caring staff and I would highly recommend it.

I really am grateful for the angelic hands of the caregivers and their warm, kind and compassionate personalities. Also,their professionalism and teamwork is off the charts. If we were going to the Super Bowl this team would win:)

Absolutely disturbing experience at this facility, the care my 85 year old mother received was Appalling , with having cancer and severe pain her meds were not distributed in the scheduled timeframe that was needed to comfort her ,when addressed the staff was lazy and uncaring , also being a fall risk nobody came to check on her when she pushed her call buttons ( that happened multiple times ) she would have to call one of us kids to come to facility to help her and get her medication after several unanswered phone calls to the front desk , even hospice agreed that she wasnt getting the care that was necessary. After only four days of this dreadful treatment my mother had to be taken out to emergency where she passed just 6 days later . Sorry but I cannot with any morals recommend trusting this facility with the care of any human being !
