Absolutely wonderful with my nervous cat. He is very shy and wary even at home, and DePorre was set up to minimize his stress in so many wayscat-specific exam room so there werent scary dog smells, calming pheromone spray, even a freshly warmed towel! Best of all, they took things at his pace and were so gentle and understanding with him. Staff were wonderful, prices fair, and facilities are highest quality. Do your cat a favor and bring them here!

We heard great reviews of this vet, so we came here with our new black lab puppy. At 6 months old, she developed a Histiocytoma in her front leg. They said that we should check it for cancer, so they took her to the back room. Whatever they did to my puppy in the back room, she is now scarred from any person touching her paws. On top of this, this vet refuses to work with her or try to examine her for a problem that THEY CAUSED, but will still charge the $85 vet fee for doing nothing..
I waited before writing this review. We have since taken our dog (now 17 months old) to a new vet, who has taken the time to gain her trust and remove this fear of people touching her paws, after ONLY 2 APPOINTMENTS. I would not recommend this vet if your pet has any fear or distress during shots, nail trimmings, or examination. They do not have any processes in place to gain the trust or ease the pet into what they are doing. They will refuse to help your pet but will still charge you the vet fee!

I had a beautiful Bangal cat coming around for food, he was so thin but frightened and friendly, DePorres Melissa spent an hour checking his microchip and discovered his story.
He had been adopted out of Macomb Animal Shelter on Dec 12 and let out. Melissa made arrangements for the officer to pick him up and save him.
