Hampton Inn & Suites Grandville Grand Rapids South

Really nice facility. Manager who did not show urgency to a customer's needs. I forgot my smartwatch in the suite I was staying at. Albeit it was my fault. I didn't realize it was left till 1 got home to Chicago. I checked my "find my watch" feature on my phone and it said it was still in the room I stayed in. I called and spoke with the Manager and said he would wait to see if house keeping would bring it up. Fast forward a few hours. My smart watch signaled an update that it was now in a dumpster on the south side of their building. Icalled back... the receptionist had told me, Manager was gone for the day and for me to call back tomorrow. It's gone. Maybe they are trained not to go above and beyond for their clientele. I feel like this could of been easily remedied if the staff wasn't lazy. Again.. my fault... but very disappointing. I visit this area every 4 months and won't be back to this location

I stayed here for a week and again staying for one more week. Last time I was given good room which is spacious. This time room is very compact and on checking with the front desk, staff is saying that rooms are not available which is not fair. I rarely see the cars in the parking though. It would be good if she is polite enough
