Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor even with the shower curtain closed. The bathroom sink sprayed all over the counter. Doors stick shut so I had to pull hard to open them. I got woke up all through out the night by the entrance door slamming shut. For as much as they charge I should have had a way better experience, felt more like I was staying at a cheap motel

This hotel is terrible, my company booked me a room here and they Internet doesn't work half of the time and the front desk staff said it due to the weather clearly to me it's has been very warm and nice outside I would say spend your money somewhere else

Friendly staff and very nice rooms. I liked having a real kitchen in my room and the breakfast in the morning was great.

This is your average TownePlace with an above-average staff. It's in a quiet location away from any road noise. I would have given them more stars except for the way they handle pet fees. Most Marriotts charge one fee, usually 75 for up to two dogs. Their website shows 75 with two dogs max, and a footnote that I missed saying it's 75 per dog. We used dog mats and left not more than a couple dog hairs behind and paid $150 for their 'deep cleaning'. I even vacuum the room myself and offered to show them how clean the room was at checkout but they would not back off the 150 at all. A beautiful Best Western I stayed at earlier this week in Ludington charged $10 per dog. I'm guessing the TownePlace suites charged me to subsidize irresponsible pet owners who's pets trashed rooms. They should be going after those people for reimbursement instead of charging me an exorbitant pet fee. Also the WiFi is very slow. I ended up having to pay for a hotspot to get any work done.

We have stayed at quite a few hotels in the Sterling Heights area while visiting family and this has been our best stay by far. Janae (sorry if spelling is wrong) at the front desk was incredible. We were traveling with my dog and she made sure we were assigned a room close to an exterior door for potty breaks. There was an issue with the card reader on the door and she fixed it right away and came to our room to let us know personally. There is a nice grassy area behind the hotel where I could easily walk my dog and let her do her business. There was even a poop bag dispenser, so I didn't have to worry about how to pick up after my dog. The room was very clean and well kept. It even came with a full kitchen and dishwasher! Bed was very comfortable and sheets were soft and clean. We will definitely be returning to the TownePlace Suites for our next Michigan trip!
