Things I found challenging: Noise from the road and parking lot made it hard to ever have windows open. The street light was bright so bedroom wasn't dark at night. Had to keep shades closed as soon as it was dark because you're kind of on display. Disappointed that the shades didn't have a bottom to top option so you could at least see out but have privacy. The main floor being upstairs was a pain at times. Community was not very friendly or engaging. There was one incident where the police had to come and settle down a crowd of people fighting. Couldn't quite feel 100 percent safe after that. Things I appreciated: Close to walking/biking trails. Very walkable to stores/restaurants. Volo was very responsive to maintenance issues. Doug is great.

Wonderful place to live. The management and staff are more than accommodating. Theres restaurants and shops walkable distance

I rented a townhome from Volo for about 1.5 years, and this was my experience. Pros: 1. Unit itself was really nice and stylized well in terms of fixtures, layout, etc. 2. Day staff was friendly and helpful 3. Location is great being across from the TexaTonka shops and near Hwy100 with easy access to downtown Cons: 1. Violence, fighting, screaming, etc. both in and around the townhome area. I spent several nights calling the nonemergency police line between 11pm-3am to report large groups of people screaming, physically assaulting one another, threatening people, etc. These incidents happened maybe 3-4 times before the individual responsible was evicted. Beyond that, the police showed up solo or in groups at other units during our lease as well. Recently it was due to some sort of domestic dispute that turned into screaming and throwing things around the unit. None of this felt safe or comfortable. 2. Poor unit maintenance from rentersgarages piled with junk/trash, garbage left in the yards, old holiday decor left out (ex. rotting pumpkins), etc. 3. High turnover of renters in the townhomes 4. Incredibly expensive, especially after rent increases 5. Poorly managed billingutilities billing was messed up for months and then charged in chunks, for example. 6. Overpromised, underdelivered amenitieswe moved in prior to everything being built, and amenities were made out to be much nicer than they are and were in some cases delayed. 7. Vehicle break-ins / theft in the parking lots 8. Random children/teens who wander around the propertyafter a few kids kept entering the apartment complex and messing around with things in the lobby, certain amenities had to be limited. The townhome units are really nice, so I hope this complex gets a chance to improve and the area lends itself to that.
