Myself and my wife were shopping for mortgage rates offering discount points with multiple financial institutions. In this field mortgage officers generally talk sweet to entice customers to have mortgage with them without disclosing vital information such as miscellaneous fees included at closing costs and maximum available discount points they are willing to offer. This leaves the customers in the lurch and are forced to re shop starting from scratch. Often you are left with little/no choice at the last moment as it's time sensitive before closing. But Beth Strapp, was very frank and honest in dealing with mortgage rates(inclusive of discount points) and other associated fees. All the applicable fees at closing was conveyed upfront thereby making the loan application process quick, smooth and stress free for us. We sealed the deal in one personal meeting with her!
