Alamo Rent A Car

We had a nice vehicle that held 4 adults and 4 big pieces of luggage. No problems with the vehicle except how to get it out of park! after that we enjoyed the car when it was needed during the week.

I called Alamo several times about an issue that went unresolved. When I posted a bad review online, they responded within a few minutes. I contacted the email address they provided & it's been 5 days without a response. They clearly have no intentions of trying to rectify the situation. I'm sure they will respond immediately to this review so it will appear that they are trying to address the issue. When in reality they won't do a single thing.

Giving a 4 because there was not a car available when I arrived at the airport at 2 am. I chatted with a rep to let them know that my flight was delayed and was assured it would not be an issue as they are open 24 hours and there was no need to change or alter my reservation. However, when arriving there were no cars available and I had to order a Lyft to hotel. It was a very uncomfortable feeling being alone in a deserted car lot and then taking a Lyft in an unfamiliar city at 2am. I then had to pay to get a Lyft back to the airport the next day. From that point on, the customer service at Alamo during pick up and drop off was very good. Car was clean and easy to handle. Price was competitive.
