TownePlace Suites by Marriott Oxford

I was a manger at TOWNEPLACE and they wrongfully terminated me because I had my toddler on the property after hours. When I was clocked out not working I was in the lobby. They have housekeepers that have their grandkid in the room with them while cleaning. The general manager even had her newborn in the hotel on the clock. They said in the handbook it said for immediate termination but when asked to show where it say immediately terminated they couldnt provide it because it didnt say it. The managers and very rude and lowdown wouldnt recommend this place at all !!!

This hotel is located in a quieter area, but also not too far from food and shopping. We stayed for two nights, and never had any issues. Staff was great, breakfast each day was good, no complaints at all! We would definitely stay again!

I wish I knew the name of the person that worked at the front desk tonight. I let my teenaged daughter (15) go on a trip with her bff (also 15) and bffs college aged sister,(that has two young children), for the weekend. I kind of panicked when my daughter texted me and told me that she and bff were hanging out in the lobby while they got the babies to calm down and go to sleep, so I called the hotel, and the clerk was SO AMAZING and patient with me, and reassured me that they had their eyes on the girls as we spoke and described them to me. They also told me that they will 100% make sure that they are safe, and reassured me that Im not crazy for calling them so late at night. This is the first time weve let our daughter go out of town with friends, so of course, Im a tad nervous. Im so grateful for the amazing person at the front desk. Their patience and kindness truly eased this mamas worries. I wish I remembered their name, but I was so upset in the moment, that it slipped my mind. I just want to tell them THANK YOU! I recommend this place to any and everyone with teens bc theyre definitely vigilant and go above and beyond when they dont have to! My teen isnt very happy with me, but the clerk also let her know that it happens all the time and Im not the only crazy mama that calls like that! Im beyond grateful. Safety: They have no problem speaking to mothers and reassuring us that their children are ok.
