I am giving 4 stars because this truly was an ok place to live. Never had issues with basics like heating or utilities going out. You can tell the building was built with very cheap materials but the grounds were kept pretty clean. As a result I did have to trap some pill bugs and flies that made it through the cracks but it wasn't a huge problem. A big godsend of this location was the trail down the road, was an awesome place to explore and relax. Other than that, you have to realize that this was the only place I could find that would give me a short term lease, so you are not going to find a long term community here, people will just be coming and going.

These are cheaply built apartments. You can hear your neighbors breathe almost. They look nice the but closer you look the more you can see the corners cut here and there to save a buck. If you don't care about noise or have noise canceling headphones I guess it's alright, but they are just a little too cheaply built for how much it costs to live there.

I would like to share that on January 6th at 10:02 pm. I received a knock on door , there stood the police and the maintenance man calling him self the apartment manager. The apartment maintenance man along with the neighbors that lives below me decided to call the police on my 3 year old son. The police did not call me a disturbance and once they saw that it was a baby they were called for they didn't say anything but walked across the hall. Meanwhile the maintenance decided to call me and my son a disturbance but could not tell me why. When I moved in my child was put on my lease so it wasn't a secret I had a toddler and we all know toddlers like to play and run around. Then I spoke to the office manager Kielce and from the moment she jumped on the phone she was the "Angry black woman" you can hear it all in her tone of voice. She told me she had proof of the noise and that it was prolonged noise and agreed to send me and email, but only sent me a violation. When I asked Kielce to specify the noise her response was "I CANT SPECIFY IT BUT WE HAVE PROOF!" " IM NOT OBLIGATED TO SEND YOU PROOF OF ANYTHING" Kielce is very unprofessional, one sided and clearly doesn't think before she speaks. I hope someone above her reaches out to me. ***update** I had an attorney reach out to the office . As well wrote them a letter. They played phone tag with him but they definitely received the message because they left us alone after that! .. bottom line and by law you can't call a child a disturbance when he's simply walking or running. A noise that's out of his control and as well mine, they can offer a solution like putting us on the first floor at their expense, but if it's not offered writing me a violation and fining me would illegal and I could sue, especially since it's not a radio / tv / or something obnoxiously being done! ... I moved and did not re-sign my lease after this incident

I have been a resident here at Summit Crossing for two years now. I was occupying one of their apartment complexs and the community is beyond lovely. Parking can be a hassle and annoying at times, but that does not define or affect the environment and experience you are given at all. We are currently transferring to their townhome because we just couldnt find it in our heart to leave this community. Lakila helped and guided us through every step of the way. She was incredibly helpful, intelligent, and outgoing. She definitely made the journey feel so much easier than what I thought it would be. The management, Ashlie was lovely and very helpful as well. Just her being present and available at any moment just shows you how much they truly care. Summit Crossing is blessed to have such amazing people on their team. If I could give them a 10/10 rating then I would. Thank you so much to everyone.
