Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield Medical District

We stayed in this hotel for a wedding. My husband and I stayed from April 3-April 6, 2024. I held five rooms with my credit card and when each person checked in, they were charged on their personal card. My in-laws cancelled a few days before their 4/5/24 date and were given a cancellation number. My credit card was still charged for their stay even though they cancelled in plenty of time. I was told to talk to Hannah, she said she would call me the next morning after doing some investigating. Hannah lied. She didn't even work the following day. I then talked to Lucas who remembered being the one that cancelled my in-laws reservation and said he was extremely busy and would call me back. Needless to say, he never called either. They also charged ANOTHER family member for an additional night even though they checked out that morning. They are receiving the same run around as me and haven't gotten a credit on their card either. The people who are handling your credit cards have no integrity and have no desire to correct their mistakes. I'm a Hilton member but will NEVER stay at another one again. This hotel must be desperate for money so if you stay here, be sure to double check your credit card and make sure you were not overcharged like 2 out of 5 of us were.

Rooms: Great rooms but my only complaint was that the door to each room clicked very loudly when closing. So you will sometimes hear bangs at night as neighbors come and go. Noteworthy details: Indoor pool was great and family friendly
