image The only issue was the shower. I think it was installed wrong. I could either do boiling hot or cold/slightly warm. I let the front desk know upon check-out.
Rooms: They had two elevators to get up and down the 3 floors. The room's mini-fridge needed to be adjusted to be colder. The heater/AC worked great. I prefer it cold, I left it on 60, it was great. The TV had a guide, and even had Netflix available.

image Fair to partly cloudy depending on who is in nearby rooms and what room you get probably. Fine place...if you want to hear everything from conversations in connecting rooms to vacuuming in halls, to housekeepers and staff, or anyone, talking in the halls. Horrible sound barriers overall.
Diamond member, was just trying to see a buddy nearby and get a break. First night was OK, no HDMI port that worked for Roku in my room on TV, no biggie. Staff upon check-in was super friendly. I paid with my Diamond reward points.
Mid-day second day the connecting room had a family with wild kids, yelling, could hear every word from the kids and parents. Spent a couple hours trying to find another place in town, finally did at an exhorbant cost, but I wouldn't have slept a bit with connecting room dynamics on this stay.
Walking down the hall to check out early I could hear a lot of conversations and noise from multiple rooms. I was at the end of the hall and top floor.
I told the desk about the dynamics and why I was checking out and pretty short customer service - "we'll look into connecting room but there is nothing else we can do and housekeeping is gone so can't clean and re-book" - no future credit option, points returned option, nothing. Not even a snack or water option.
Wasn't expecting anything, but for a Diamond member it seemed like poor customer service to me, but what do I know? Hospitality or otherwise, everything ultimately bakes out to people and relationships.
Seemed like kind of a "sorry, too bad, see ya later" vibe to me. That's fine, it is what it is. I left, stayed somewhere better, and will personally never stay here again.....even if it was the last hotel with a room and I had to be in Springfield for an event or funeral or anything.
Just my experience and I understand not everyone's is the same. I should probably rate it a 1 but I will give some benefit of the doubt as I have traveled a ton for work in the past and stayed at many places, both better and worse.
