I ordered 5 day carpet and it was installed 26 days later. Unacceptable. I was giving a 50 doller gift card , it cost more to keep stuff in storage, rearrange the painters and movers as well as move the new furniture that arrived 8 days after the carpet was originally supposed to be installed. We also have to put the furniture together as when it was delivered we couldn't have it installed because the carpet was not installed. We had family coming for Thanksgiving we had to cancel as we had no room for them to stay in. They had to pay for a hotel for 3 nights. The carpet we chose was because it was a 5 day carpet, had we known earlier we would have went elsewhere at least picked a different carpet as well. After the time it took to measure, arranging the install a few days later, then calling for a week everyday numerous times to try to move the day up, and getting no calls back, we were unable to get any local company to get it done in time due to the lag from Home Depot and the Installers. We had a domino effect of issues with our new home due to this. We had home Depot set up to quote 68 cabinets in our kitchen, I cancelled, and we are going elsewhere. Also I am not getting the other section of the house we were going to carpet after the holidays done by home Depot either. This is the 3rd set of carpets we bought from home Depot, never again. Sorry we are busy doesn't cut it. Customer lost forever
