Sonesta Simply Suites Jersey City

Spent 4nights here. Helpful staff, good location,just few minutes to PATH station Exchange and Whole foods market, several options for have a breakfast nearby. Rooms suitable space. Recommended.

I loved my stay in this comfortable, pleasant, welcoming place, with a better-than-expected bathroom, with a handle for support when getting into the bathtub, great flow and water temperature. I was well attended to by the reception in the morning (a man of Eastern origin), and in the afternoon (a lady of Latin origin, and a young man of African origin). I didn't like the service at the check-in reception, which was merely protocol, cold and devoid of human empathy, from the receptionist (a very affectionate young woman, of African origin), who at no time was kind or understanding. Sonesta should prepare people like this woman to serve its guests and customers well, as this denigrates the image of a place as appropriate and worthy of praise as Sonesta. Rooms: The room I stayed in was great. Comfortable bed, light supply, kitchen utensils and appliances... Everything was very good. Walkability: Proximity to the subway station, which I used daily to travel to New York. The entire region is flat, with no slopes or stairs.

A very well located hotel, close to two stops on the PATH. The rooms were very clean and for 4 adults the rooms are not cramped at all. The kitchen could be a little better equipped as the pans and pots were not very good. Recommended if you want to save a little but be a few minutes from Manhattan.
