Added after owner response, 2 + years later, Claudio's used my negative review to advertise... Shameless. I don't really know where to begin. I think the worst thing that happened is the man that was allowed to smoke a cigar IN the restaurants dining section. After asking the host and manager we were told they just allow people to smoke cause it's outside. The manger said he didn't even know the law but people do it here so he figured it's ok? There are no smoking sections in NY. I can't believe a company this big let's this happen. Ruined a meal. Broke the law, and the manger said it's the wind? Come on. The manager even tried to say Claudio's was owned by "Big Corporate" so he figured they knew what the law was. Clearly not. No smoking

Everything a North East Waterfront Seafood Restaurant Should be! Reflects the cool non pretentious Greenport vibe perfectly which is somewhere in between Mystic Ct and Newport RI. Food and Service was excellent and approachable priced in comparison to other similar restaurants I have been to in Hamptons.

Im usually not one to leave a negative review but in this case Im disappointed and upset. Went in with my husband and kids to have lunch. The restaurant is beautiful inside and we had high hopes for the food. The clam chowder was just not good. It tasted nothing like clam chowder. Its tasted like a chicken avgolemono soup. There was not even a hint of seafood in the flavor. But what upset me beyond the chowder is that the person who cleared the table took 2 large, full bowls of chowder from the table and didn't think or bother to ask if we had a problem the meal. Poor customer service in my opinion. My $120 would have been better spent elsewhere.
