Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Have used this location many times and have spent alot of money with them, however, this last experience left me never wanting to use them again. Sabrina was absolutely great. Shane, on the other hand, is absolutely horrible. Beyond rude. After renting for almost a month, after continuously extending my rental due to unforseen circumstances, he called and basically accused me of trying to steal their car and proceeded to hang up on me.

The staff were friendly and helpful in person, allowing us to pick up our vehicle the night before our trip. We ordered a premium SUV through the Potsdam NY office, but had to pick-it up in the Watertown location. Regardless, we couldn't have been happier with the brand new 2024 Ford Expedition XL. With. the 9 day rental for our vacation, our bill was $1,300, but completely worth it - up to a point. And here's the reason for the one star review. We asked if we could return the vehicle to our local Enterprise location. We were told, no, that because it was a premium vehicle, we had to return it to the Watertown location. So, after the 10 hour second leg of our trip home, we were required to get back into the vehicle, drive the hour and 40 minutes to Watertown, and then return the same distance. Watertown Enterprise added 3 plus hours to an already long, tiring drive. Who ever heard of being REQUIRED to return a rental to the same location from where it was picked-up? A vehicle with New Jersey plates?! Premium vehicle, premium price, unacceptable return policy. After spending that aount of money, that one thing completely ruined our experience. Enterprise Watertown, you blew it.
