Best Western Watertown Fort Drum

For an old hotel, this Best Western is comfortable. Rooms are a bit grungy, but the bedding was clean. The plumbing groaned and howled and sometimes sounded a bit melodic. Walkability: We walked all over Watertown from here. Nice spot to do some exploring of a cute little town. You can walk along the river and see the weirs, some rapids, and a few parks.

Most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. Checked in with our 2 year old and was given a room that was not cleaned, had stains all over the unmade bed, dried vomit all over the toilet, and trash everywhere (who knows what else, we got the hell out of there asap). Went back to front desk to get a new room and was given a room where the entire floor reaked of marijuana. I got my family out of that hotel and check in to a Hilton a couple minutes away (the front desk person said we are certainly not the first to leave the Best Western and come to them) which I wish I booked from the beginning. I never write reviews but feel like I have to warn anyone looking here going foward. Not sure how this is rate a 3 star hotel

Booked on Priceline, and hotel exceeded expectations. King room, clean, everything worked. Free breakfast was good. After a long day in the car it was good to walk around town, and the hotel was close to many restaurants and shops.
