Upfront & Transparent pricing? We were told that our two W2s was a simple tax service ($95), and we were quoted for this. Got to the end and were upcharged to a "complex" tax return ($140) because there was one bank interest form (1099 Form) that takes 5 seconds to input... and that we were already charged $30 separately for. Plus $70 per state w2..
Just seems like a lot of double charging, mainly due to the bank interest earned. Even the manager couldn't justify it.
I get that they're a business, but this wasn't a transparent process and I'm disappointed with that.
