AT&T Store

I would 5 star this because the reps here are a pleasure to deal with especially the woman I did not catch her name. But the reason for 3 is more so I was not informed that the trade-in upgrade had a caveat that you have to carry att as your provider for 3 years after the upgrade to receive it for free they trained the employees to say no contracts that is not the case it is labeled on a tiny sign in the store it says no annual contracts. But requiring me to be under the service provider for 3 years to receive the free phone is by definition a contract. It needs to be explicitly stated that no Annual contract when communicating this to a paying customer but there are contracts. I was told I did not have a installment plan inside the store when they looked at my account and then told the very next day that canceling my service required me to pay my phone in full to get it active under my new provider and also have to wait 48 hours on top of the 24 from the previous day with my phone locked. And ironically enough the only way to handle this was by a phone call which was impossible to do via my phone due to the network lock. There should be more payment options online was not an option because my account was suspended because of this and was not allowed to log in online and the pay without logging in feature made me have to log in to pay the online service reps are unable to process payment and you can't pay it at the store these should be options as well as the pay without logging in feature and or by phone. But thank you to the reps for providing great customer service. Even let me use the store phone so I could get this taken care of. And sorry to the guy if I came off as rude I tried my best to contain my frustration it's just been a multi day ordeal and there was some poor communication along the way. I do recommend this store because of the way reps treat the customers.

Shannon was the associate we spoke with while we were in the store! She was very nice and very informative. She helped with every step of the process!! Very, very happy with AT&T and the associates at the Morganton location and I am happy with my new phone and our service! 10/10!!
