An amazing experience with Backyard Oasis. If you want a gunite pool, this is the company to go with. Sean, Vance and the entire team were so great. Always communicating and making sure we knew what the process would be and when it would happen. We signed our contract in October, permits were issued within a few weeks and dig-day was just a couple weeks later.. it was 4 months from dig to fill, which is almost unheard of. I've heard horror stories about pool builders, but this was one of the best experiences we could've asked for. We now have an amazing pool and we can't wait for summer. If you want the best - go with Backyard Oasis Pools!

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SEAN CABOT. We used Sean to rent a house in the Wake Forest area, and he was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Our lease expired on July 31st, and my husband texted him saying our movers would be at the house on the 27th to move us, then we would be back on the 28th-31st to clean, paint etc before officially giving back keys. Sean stated in a text to not worry about it because he had painters coming in on the 28th (which is against the law as you cannot have vendors in the house prior to your lease end date). He also stated to not worry about it because our house was in impeccable condition. A week later, Sean took out $2,000 of our security deposit because he charged us for painting, cleaning, and for the carpets to be done. Wow! We would have done this given we would have had the opportunity to do this prior to moving out. Im also a property manager and would have not had to pay $2,000 in fees as we would have done it all ourselves. Not to mention, he didnt even credit us back for the utility expenses that his vendors used up while working in the house. Even though house rentals are not relatable to this business, Sean is the owner and is an awful business person. Do yourself a favor, and go with someone else for your pool if you dont want to be screwed over.

We met with a rep from Backyard in June of 2020 to discuss our pool desires. The rep came out, looked at our property and said he'd be back in touch within a week or two with a proposal. Two months later, no word at all. When I followed up after two months, I was sent a elementary sketch of a pool design via email. When I asked for estimates on costs, was told that would follow within two days vial email also, although he did say he preferred to present the estimate in person. I had said that was fine as well. Three weeks later, not a word at all. If you're too busy for my business, kindly say so and I'll move on. But don't waste three months of my time. As a small business owner myself, I have much more respect for my customers than that. There are too many pool companies to have to settle for this.
