Rooms were really nice and love the Dove products in the bathroom. Continental breakfast was just okay. We were originally told there were no rooms when I asked where another hotel was she suddenly remembered there might be 1 room with 2 beds available.
Rooms: Room was clean, beds soft and comfortable.

It's a nice hotel right next to the hospital for out of town people who have family in the hospital. Its near lots of restaurants and not to far from some shopping. Front desk is friendly and the staff is also friendly. The complimentary breakfast is good as well. Overall I recommend this Holiday Inn location is your coming to Wilson and want a nice hotel to stay in.

The lacking star was due to the crazy amount of smells in this hotel. Just after check in I needed to blast the AC to vent out the EXTREME smell of chlorine bleech from the hallway. (May have been housekeeping doing some late cleaning?)
It wasn't as bad when I returned from dinner. Then, when leaving for work, I had the smell of pot in each hallway I traveled and everywhere outside. Still smelled outdoors when walking back in 2 hours later, not too bad on my level.
Rooms: Room seemed clean. The carpet was a hot mess and made use of excellent sized bath towels to walk on. The hard serfaces felt clean to walk on.
Noteworthy details: When checking in front desk lady was giving her coworker/subordinate all what for... I quote,"...Turn that attitude around...". I felt like I was walking in on a domestic dispute.
However, the same lady seemed to know the ins and outs of my stay, and it felt like she really knew the situation, a client paid for the stay. The entire process was fast.
Other than suggest she read some Dale Carnegie books about leadership or not working with offspring. I feel she was extremely competent, helpful, and on point.
