Pet friendly hotel that has a problem with pets! Derek apparently has an issue with certain dogs. Threatened us that we would be kicked out if another guest had an issue with our dogs. (Not barking, just the fact of how they look) pretty sure there is a word for that. The guests that were staying at a dog friendly hotel. Funny that derek was the only one that had an issue and brought it up. Rest of the staff loved the dogs. Derek caused us to cancel the second week we reserved after one night. He is a problem for this hotel!
Will NEVER come here again!! We have spent thousands staying at this hotel over the last couple years, never again!
Put it to you this way, we decided to go buy a $20,000 camper tomorrow to finish our stay in! We will not spend another penny here! And we will be sure others know not to come here looking for a pet friendly hotel because of derek! Then when we went to talk to him about the situation, his attitude was ill as all get out! NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS! If you dont want to be at work, GO HOME!!!!
UPDATE TO REPLY TO OWNER: First of all, Derrick IS the problem, thats why he has multiple complaints. Oh, did you think we didnt talk to other staff there? The manager being one. Also, you dont think it is funny that HE was the only one to have an issue with us?? And might I add, we were not kicked out we left by choice before something ACTUALLY happened. Oh, and I am familiar with the other guest that complained. When she saw the dog (THAT WAS NOT BARKING!) she stepped back and her exact words were GOD WHAT IS THAT?!?. Its a GD dog! You are in a hotel, that is dog friendly, you are bound to seewait for it. DOGS!!!! If we want to carry this on, there can be a discrimination suit filed. And if others dont believe that your oh so special employee, is the problem, then they can just read the other reviews about him. Ah thank you! Oh, and guess what, we actually decided to stay in one of your competing hotels, and isnt it amazing, our kids still take our dogs out and have not gotten ONE complaint! So who is delusional here?

Easy location, close to everything!
Personally, the beds were too soft- I just prefer a stiffer bed.
We were told checkout was noon, housekeeping started knocking shortly before 10. We ended up checking out around 11, because housekeeping knocked 2 more times. Advised the front desk, who did apologize.
Other than that, breakfast was a good variety too. I just don't enjoy being rushed.

Do not stay here! It's old, and in need of updating. If you are not pet friendly, definitely do not stay here. Our bathroom floor tile grout was cracked and created a safety hazard, the shower curtain rack was falling from the wall and in need of repair, I mean come on, don't the maids report this, oh ya, no maid service, the front lobby wreaked of smoke when you walked in and remained that way thw entire stay, perhaps the front desk crew smokes.
