It has been a pleasurable experience working with GA White from start to finish. I am 42 years old, who has had a stroke, as soon as we met the architect, he went straight to work designing my house from the ground up with my handicap in mind, lots of time and thought went into designing this house while making sure of my safety and independence. We were instructed to go to various places to pick out fixtures, cabinets, every step of the way was a breeze. As stressful as that can be, there was always an associate there who had the specs on the house, they knew exactly what was needed and the sizes. The best part was after you told them your style, they knew exactly where to direct us. We knew what the quality would be with a GA White house, but the value we received exceed our expectations. We are more than happy with our home. Everyone from the GA White staff to the vendors they recommended was friendly, and treated our project as a priority. They went above and beyond answering every question, helping us work out all the details so our ideas turned out even better than expected, and built is a home we know will last forever. G.A. White in my opinion is one the most premiere homebuilders. The process of building with them is absolutely seamless. Chad leaves no detail unturned. His professionalism and the process of building a new home is unmatched. From start to finish it is amazing to see how our come new home came together. I love their family business dynamic too. My wife and I had very minimal experience in buying houses, let alone building a house. So, at the outset of our journey to build our dream house, my wife and I were understandably filled with excitement and anticipation. However, there was a lingering worry in the back of our minds - the fear that what should have been a dream might turn into a nightmare. We built the house when we had COVID related supply chain problems. We had all heard the horror stories of construction projects gone awry, with delays, budget overruns, and communication breakdowns. It was precisely because of these concerns that we were so pleasantly surprised and relieved to find GA White who not only met but exceeded our expectations. From the moment we signed on with them, those nagging fears began to dissipate. From the first day when we met with Coleman, who gave a very positive first impressions, to sitting down and planning every detail with Shawn whose attention to detail was meticulous, to our interactions with Chad and his team whose high standards while building the house, our experience was extremely positive. They took the time to understand our vision, address our concerns, and provide realistic timelines and cost estimates. The highlight of the whole team, especially Coleman, Shawn and Chad were their promptness with communications and their willingness to resolve the issues immediately. An event which we still remember was that an inadvertent mistake was done with ordering a door. Shawn immediately owned the mistake; he was very transparent about the whole issue and rectified it in a very amicable way. It increased our trust in them and respected their honesty. This transparency was a breath of fresh air and instantly quelled our initial anxieties. The builder's ability to assemble a team of congenial subcontractors further alleviated our worries. It became evident that they were meticulously vetting all those involved, ensuring that each member of the project was not only skilled but also dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience. One other positive aspect was their prompt and courteous response to any minor discrepancies we encountered even after we took the possession of the house. We would like to make a small suggestion. For the house owner, taking the possession of the house is a major event and a moment when their dream takes a reality. Making it a bit special, like some balloons, flowers, fruit basket or something like that will add silver lining to the event. Couple of minor suggestions to the future home owners: When you are budgeting, please note that the builders discount is on the original price of the article not on big box stores prices. After builders discount, most of the articles will be similar or in some cases slightly more than the big box store prices. Second thing is that you may want to first go to the suppliers stores to see that the choices the suppliers have are to your taste. GA White picked top notch suppliers. We were very happy with the quality and service of those suppliers. But one or two suppliers did not have the styles which we would have liked. In the end, our dream of building a house did not turn into a nightmare; it became a truly enjoyable and fulfilling experience, thanks to the outstanding team of GA White. Coleman, Shawn, Chad and whole of their team not only built us a beautiful home but also turned our initial worries into a distant memory. Their commitment to customer service and their dedication to making our dream a reality surpassed our expectations, making the entire journey a positive and memorable one.
