    I wouldn't recommend living here. I am a current tenant and they have a pest (roach) problem. THEY WILL NOT tell you this upon moving in. It hasn't been one day upon moving in that I HAVEN'T seen one. They will tell you pest control will spray and put you on the weekly list, but it won't prevent anything. I call every single week due to what I've seen. They know about this problem and still let me move in, knowing I have 2 small children. Now I'm locked in this lease for a full year. Upon touring, make sure to look at their windowsills and their closets. It was my mistake to have not done that. Each 1, teach 1 ** they also try to avoid answering the phone in the leasing office. You have to leave multiple messages, but it's recommended you walk into their office. Also, if you are touring, make sure to check the tops of cabinets FOLLOW UP.... 6 months later and no big changes. Heat works when it wants to. I've called 3x about the heat already. No one answers the phone in office, and they're rarely there. DO NOT LIVE HERE. These people do not care.

Not even a single tiny camera in this whole building, IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU THE POLICE WILL NEVER EVER FIND OUT! Please dont live in here. 09/05/2023 Update! There has been a change of management and they are responding fairly quickly; however, the place has been infested with roaches and bugs, mind you that I pay a lot for a single bedroom. Additionally, my car has recently been stolen and neither the entrance nor the parking lot have cameras. I have had more than two deliveries stolen. Despite my best efforts, I am finding that it is not what I expected. 02/2023 Upon meeting Onjela, I felt immediately at home. The apartment is extremely clean, and I can' wait to move in.

    Edit: Finally recieved my security deposit back, took 90 days, half a dozen emails. Check came quickly after I recieved the email stating the request for my return had been sent in. Which did not get put in till three months after I had vacated the apartment. In Ohio they have sixty days to either return your deposit and/or send an itemized letter. They did neither and I had to keep on them about my return the entire time. The only reason they still have three stars is because , One I did end up recieving the return and Two, they remained friendly and respectful (as did I). Something I can't say about all the managers that Towne used to employ. Edited : The review below was written not long after I moved out. It is now 12 days shy of three months since I moved out. I was told upon move out that I would be recieving my full security deposit return. I have been in contact with current management multiple times via email concerning this, due to the fact that I have yet to recieve the return of my deposit. I was again assured I'd be recieving my deposit and that they were just behind on paperwork. I've been more than patient with them and remained respectful (which we should always do). I have not recieved my deposit back, it is going on three months. It seems like unfortunatley, new managemnt has the same paperwork problems that old managment had. I did make sure to confirm they had my number and new address. The review below was posted with four stars. At the time that's what was deserved. I have been forced to change that. I have not recieved any communication via mail concerning my deposit. Lived here four years prior to moving out and out of town. Ownership had changed hands around the begining of May. New managment was very good to work with during the move out process. When Towne Properties owned the place , managment was a revolving door. Every few months we either didn't have a manager or had a new manager. The last manager was the worst of them all. I can't speak for the how it is under new ownership except during my move out. Very kind and professional. The buildings are dated, upgrades were basically cosmetic in nature. Problems with roaches on and off the entire time I lived here. Didn't matter how clean I kept the place. I'd know when it was about time for the bug guy to return because I'd start seeing them again. Thin walls and floors, got more ghetto as the years went on. Well at least my neighbors did. Was never a problem with safety, except the locked entry doors being constantly proped open or the lock be damaged due to residents messing it up so they didn't have to get up and actually let people in. People speed through the lot so if you have kids, be warned. The speed bumps don't deter it. In my unit the electric sockets all sparked when I would plug something in, best to get a multi socket base and leave it plugged in. My time here wasn't horrible but it had it's headaches. Maintenance was always amazing. New ownership kept the maitenance team so I'm sure it'll still be great.
