Bath Fitter

Installed our bathtub the day before thanksgiving, our bedroom flooded because they didnt install the drain properly and it took them 2 days to get someone out. They never offered to replace the carpet or reimburse us for the damage. Once we were able to use the shower, we noticed that the shower head was installed too close to the wall, so we have to lean on the wall when we shower. We called and ask them to fix this, they told us they couldnt get out here until January, it is now April and we havent heard 1 word from them. These are already overpriced so add the shady work and business practices, it would be cheaper to just hire a regular contractor or put a tub in yourself. The tub they sell is literally only $400 at Lowes and an installed bath fitter is $9000. Not worth it at all

We have had a bath fitter tub installed at my grandma's house for all of 1.5 years now. Within the first 6 months, it had a severe crack near the drain. We had to argue for another month just to get it fixed without an additional 6K charge. Part of the agreement for them to actually fix the crack was that this could not be warrantied again. And now, it's cracked again due to nothing other than general use. Wish I would've just gotten the old tub removed in the first place and not spent all of this $$ with bath fitter. Chase was our installer. He did a fantastic job. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. He cleaned up before he left, and answered any questions we had. We will definitely request Chase when we do our other bathroom! We are very happy with our new step in shower. I need to mention Kathy in the office. She was very pleasant to talk to and called to remind us of our appointment with the salesman, and also to schedule our installation. Steve, our salesman, was very professional and knowledgeable about the product, design, and materials. He helped us design the walk in shower that best fit our needs. He had samples of the different designs and colors along with the assessories we could add to our shower. There was absolutely no pressure, and when he left we felt confident that we had chosen the best company to redo our shower. We cannot say enough good things about Bathfitters and the employees we had contact with during our purchase and installation! Would not hesitate to recommend Bathfitters to anyone wanting a quality product with professional installation.
