Been using A-Action Heating & Cooling to service my furnace and AC for the past 15 years. Needed to replace the 20 year old Trane AC this year so I naturally asked for a quote from A-Action, along with another local company. Brett gave me a very competitive quote and answered all my questions. Del and Scott did the installation a couple of days ago, and they were professional and friendly. The AC installation passed the city inspection (no surprise there). Highly recommend A-Action, great people and great service! Update: this summer has been unbelievably hot, with 90+ and even 100+ days, I would not have survived with the old AC unit. Also, wanted to thank Brett for helping me fill out the EnergyTrust rebate, I just got the check today! 2024 Update: TLDR: I got a new furnace from A-Action to replace a 23 year old unit! The long story: The 23 year old furnace decided to die on a cold Friday night in March, at the same time pumped some nasty smelling air into the house. It smelled faintly like fish, and I vaguely recall reading "rotten egg smell = gas leak, fishy smell = electrical fire" so I frantically checked every outlet and switch in the house, and even went up to the attic to check on the furnace; luckily all was well, but I was terrified to turn the furnace back on. The weekend was still cold so that made the evenings challenging (but builds character!) Sent a "help!" email to A-Action Sunday night and Alicia contacted me first thing Monday morning. Scheduled Dan to come out Tuesday, and he quickly identified the issue and fixed it, but I was thinking a 23 year old furnace is probably due to fail, since it's always a cascading failure. Brett came out and gave me an estimate on two options, and it was a very competitive quote from my google search online for a typical installation of Trane furnace. Jerrold and Junior did the install the following Monday, they were great as well. The new furnace is 95% efficient vs the old one at 80%, so that will also reduce the gas/electric bill for running the furnace/AC. I still highly recommend A-Action for any HVAC related work, a company with great people that I can trust.

Sought 5 different quotes from heating/cooling companies over the last 5 years. Each and every quote was for $8,000 or more, and they all told me the prices for central AC were only going to go up year by year. Then the owner of A-Action came over in February at my request, and quoted me for just under $7k. The unit is beautiful. The guys who came to install it were extremely polite and did the job beautifully. Cant say if the unit works or not, as A-Action has yet to come by and test it like they said they would. I have every confidence they will turn up, and the unit will work perfectly. Ill change it to 5-stars when I know the unit works as it should.

We have never used A-Action Heating & Cooling Inc. The algorithm they use to solicit reviews, unfortunately, seems to pick up even potential customers who ever phoned them just to inquire about their services. I tried more than once to call this local vendor to get off their mailing list so that we wouldn't keep getting these solicitations that have lead to unintended 5-star reviews. That's why the 1-star review we posted here. We're still getting their solicitations and seeing our name inadvertently posting 5-star reviews we never intended. To discourage this practice of theirs, we're leaving this 1-star review.
