        I was arriving in the evening and was leaving first thing in the morning. I wanted something clean, not fancy, comfortable bed, reasonable price and dog friendly. This is an older motel currently being renovated. The room has its flaws as it hadnt been totally renovated. If youre looking for fancy modern furniture and decor you wont be happy. If you want a clean room and a comfortable bed you will be happy here. Plenty of hot water when I showered in the morning. I love that the owners are renovating this older motel that has good bones. From a financial aspect I understand why they are still renting rooms while renovating. I have a bad back and I slept well. That was my priority and it was very clean. Rooms: Not fancy, but clean and I couldnt hear my neighbors. Safety: As I was traveling solo and I had my dog Meg with me I needed somewhere safe to walk her at 11:00 pm and again at 7:00. I took her down a block or so where there was an empty lot of weeds. (And yes I bagged her deposits). We walked around the block where there are homes. It was well lit with street lights. Very little traffic. I felt safe every time I took her out Noteworthy details: The staff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived. After a long drive was nice to be met with a smile.
