My elderly Parents bought a new kitchen faucet and needed it replaced so they called Forbes as they had used them in the past but when the guy got there he spent all of 35 min and charged 439.00 to me that is just taking advantage. People should avoid this company

Can be a little pricey but very reliable. They know what they are doing and usually can come within a day of call

Had a slow drain in the laundry room. Had had great experiences with Forbes in the past, so I called and spoke with Jason who told me that there would be an $89 service charge plus and work that would be done. What Jason neglected to tell me is that they had, in fact, two fixed prices for cleaning out drains: over $400 for snaking it out and over $600 for pressure cleaning it out with water. After their technicians came out and told me what it was gonna cost, I paid their service fee and sent them on their way. Essentially, they charged me $89 to tell me in person what Jason could have told me over the phone, had he been so inclined. I've since learned that the company has been sold to a large corporate entity and is no longer the local business that that I had felt with in the past. Ultimately, I had work done by another local plumber for less than half of what Forbes would have charged for pressure cleaning the drain. That work included installing a new clean-out at the laundry line. I will no longer rely on Forbes for any of my future plumbing needs

We have had excellent experiences with Forbes. We had a major hot water leak which caused alot of damage under our house. They came out quickly and fixed our leak no problem. The staff is helpful and encouraging. The plumbers are knowledgeable, efficient and professional. After our first experience we have had them out twice more for other jobs and are just as happy with each plumber we have had. We asked for help with a big project and they sent an inspector/problem solver who inspected all our pipes and helped us come up with a reasonable plan to proceed including up-to-date info on new technology that could really help our situation. Each and everyone was respectful of my husband who is in a wheelchair and has not been able to see for himself, but has experience and is knowledgeable in this field. They have taken pictures and brought pipe for him to see. We would heartily recommend Forbes Plumbing to anyone.
