Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eugene Downtown - University, an IHG Hotel

Exhausted and needing a night's rest, we stopped here on a whim. Best experience!!! The front desk person was super courteous and friendly. We got a great rate for our spa tub room and we really surprised by how wonderful everything is. Haven't stayed in a Holiday Inn in a long time. The room was beautiful and bed absolutely comfortable. The quality is fantastic here. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful and had everything you could want for breakfast. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy. We definitely will be back!!!

we initially booked our room for 1 night, thought that we would extend our stay for an additional day until....... we woke up at 5am, to our bed, nightstand, and wall littered with ANTS.. there were hundreds of them! I will post photos once my boyfriend forwards them to me. I went down to the front desk and the guy said he'd have maintained take a look! THAT'S IT! I requested to talk with a manager and will be speaking with the district manager supposedly at 8am.... I will update with the outcome, and add the additional photos for confirmation.

Okay so here it goes. Room was clean, staff was really nice, especially the girl that checked us in, sucks I don't recall her name cause she should be recognized.. very welcoming. .bed was comfy.. my only negative things I can say is it's hard to keep room at comfortable temperature, couldn't get fan to just stay on and it heated up fast. Would try to open window at times, but kept hearing the sounds of metal as cars went in and out of parking garage like every 5 minutes and it got super annoying so had to close window .oh and the hot tub could use a remodel , very course and over chlorinated. Other than that great place to stay, breakfast was decent as well. Rooms: Clean and comfortable besides heating issue Food & drinks: Decent breakfast for a hotel.
