Norton’s Family Cafe & Catering Co

We decided to give Norton's Family Cafe a try for lunch. The staff were very welcoming as we entered and found a seat. Our order was quickly taken, and we had our drinks in hand promptly. That is where the wheels fell off the bus. We waited and waited for our sandwiches to come. Meanwhile, the other tables around us were receiving their food quite quickly after being seated. Our server did stop by to apologize for the wait and find out where our food was, but still nothing came. After waiting for just short of an hour, we could wait no longer. We let our server know we had to go. They tried to make it right by giving us a gift card for another time, but it will be a while before we give Norton's another chance as there are other dependable places in town to grab a sandwich or breakfast.

So disappointed that Biscuits Cafe closed, It was such a kid friendly, family friendly place. Norton's, not so much at all... It's pretty much like they don't want kids in their place because they don't even so much as have anything to serve them other than pastries or expensive sides that you have to put together for them. No kids menu at all. Disappointing at best. Sucks that we lose kid and family friendly restaurants in our community and replace them with bars and non-family friendly places. Time to get out of this town truthfully. Waitresses also on top of you with both coming to our table several times for the same questions, within moments of each other. Do you want water? Have you been served? Do you want something to drink? Do you need anything else? But it's like constant because both waitresses are coming as though they both think this is their table? They're very nice but it's confusing at best and very interrupting to a meal.

Goodness, what a find! I enjoyed my first lunch today at Norton's at the recommendation of a friend who met me there for lunch. There is not a single item on this menu I would hesitate to recommend. My BLT had the most generous portions of real, fresh tomatoes and quarter-inch sliced bacon, it was almost a meal for two. This is Wilsonville's newest best restaurant, by far!
