Very clean, comfortable bed & staff was great. Only negative was no freezer in the very small refrigerator

Not a very impressive hotel. While the hotel was clean, the rooms are dated and are due for renovation. The desk and the chest with the TV on it had signs of wear on them. Wallpaper was warped on some of the walls in the room. The water did not get hot in the sink. There was an event happening at the attached convention center and there was only one person checking guests in when I arrived. There should have been two front desk people checking guests in with the event happening that day. The hotel parking lot was full when I arrived and I had to park in the parking garage for the convention center. I know this is not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but there were company vans parked in the hotel parking lot that should have been parked in the convention center parking lot. As far as good things about the hotel, the staff was friendly and courteous. The view from the room balcony was beautiful, overlooking the nearby mountains and part of the city. The food at the Bistro was also very good, but a bit expensive. Rooms: The rooms are nice and well layed out, but some of the furniture should be replaced and the rooms are definitely due for renovation. Nearby activities: The Blair County Convention Center is conveniently attached to the hotel, which hosts many events throughout the year.
