Peppers Flower Shop and Balloons

My father passed away recently and I called Peppers the following day to see about getting flowers. Apparently the shop was already closed but Steve, the owner answered his phone, only to rudely tell me that he had no flowers and that it was homecoming weekend. He didnt offer his condolences, but was extremely rude. He said that hed go to the store and then call me back. He was just as rude when he called me back to tell me that he had a few flowers but not many. Again, he kept going on that he had to close early and it was homecoming, etc. Im sorry that my father passed away at an inconvenient time. Yes, I was asking for flowers on short notice, but when I called another shop, the owner offered his condolences and was very polite telling me that he was short on flowers and was unable to help me. I was able to get a beautiful arrangement from Antoszyks in Saxonburg. Terry was able to also make beautiful arrangements for my dads wife and brother. She went into her shop on a Sunday to see that the arrangements were made and delivered. I cant believe that Steve was so rude to me as I was dealing with my fathers death and all of the anxiety that goes with it. I would never recommend Peppers to anyone.

I always try and support a local business, but this is the second time Ive called and gotten attitude for no reason! Called inquiring about deliver for Mothers Day and was told, We dont deliver on Mothers Day..we want to enjoy Mothers Day too I would have been happy with a Saturday delivery , but his attitude enticed me to call another florist in Butler who gladly delivered on Saturday.

Cannot express the kindness and patience shown to our family while planning our mothers funeral. Peppers came through for us after another flower shop left us the day before Valentines in a horrible predicament, needing funeral flowers. We will forever remember the kindness and Peppers will always be our go to flower shop in the future. Thank you Peppers, the flowers were beautiful!

I called Monday to place an order for Saturdays Homecoming. I am not familiar with what to order and when to order. Steve was not the friendliest, but cordial at this point. I called back today to see if I could pick the order up Friday instead of Saturday Steve again was not the friendliest, but he said ok. Well, when I asked about adding a corsage to the order which was just one boutonnire he became very rude. Again I thought I was ordering in time. I told him multiple times I was not sure what I was supposed to order. I was not rude whatsoever. At this point, I told him not to worry about it, found another florist nearby and cancelled the whole order. I called one right after him, that was very friendly, but told me they stopped taking orders and gave me info for another florist. That was understandable. If he is the owner of this florist, he definitely needs to learn customer service or not deal with customers at all. Absolutely uncalled for!!
