Rapid Car Rental

Genuinely confused by all the positive reviews. I seriously think they are fake/planted or they are somehow deleting negative reviews. I rented a car for 6 days. Arrived to the rental business to pick up vehicle during regular operating hours to find the shop closed and no one there. I ubered there and literally had no where to go. I sat outside of the business in 35 degree weather on the curb until he picked up the phone. He did not arrive to open up the business again until 1 hour and 10 min later. He stated that I would receive a 10% discount for the inconvenience (I still have not received this). It was stated multiple times before and when picking up the rental that the $200 security deposit was simply that, a deposit that would be refunded back once the rental is complete (again, still have not seen this refund after a month since this rental). Tire on the car had low pressure that needed to be filled every day I had it. Steering wheel sounded suspicious and creaky throughout the rental period. It should be noted that I returned the vehicle in exact condition that it was received. When returning the car, there was just some random man running the shop who clearly did not work there, just a friend of the owner filling in while he is out of town. The owner walked him through the checkout process over the phone while I stood there confused. I promise you that this headache is not worth renting with these people. Complete and utter disappointment. Would rather pay double the price in the future with a company who knows what they are doing.

This is an excellent rental service with a very friendly owner and staff, with an awesome selection of vehicles. I had such a great first experience I already went back for a second week rental! Absolutely best rental service I ever had.I will definitely be back and will be recommending to others! Thank you Rapid Rentals!
