A storm blew my roof flap up and there was major water damage to two bedrooms. G Cannon Roofing put a new roof on. After that, both bedrooms had all new drywall, walls and ceiling, installed and were painted. Less than two years later I noticed water damage on the ceiling and wall of one bedroom. I called G Cannon and someone came out to take a look. I was told that the sealant around the chimney had come up. It was resealed that day, and I was told the sealant would have to be redone every couple of years. No one had ever mentioned continual resealing maintenance when the roof was installed. I also asked about the interior damage and was told that someone would get back to me. I received an email saying that someone would be out to do a permanent fix to the roof, but that they would not take any responsibility for the interior damage. I appreciate that they were very quick to respond and to fix the job they did on the roof, but I am left wondering why the permanent fix wasnt done in the first place. I am also upset that I now have to have the ceiling and drywall in the bedroom redone and then painted, again because the new roof leaked, when the room was just completely redone less than two years ago.
