Dr. Julie W. Childers, MD

I just got off of pain pills after 15 years and was feeling pretty good. As far as pain I was told to go to Dr. Childers not knowing what they could do for me when I refuse to go back on another opiate she was pissed, because just like all the other pain clinics, they thrive on having power over patients and treating everybody like garbage so to retaliate, she lied in my medical record, saying I was upset with my primary doctor because he stopped prescribing my opiates. Meanwhile it was my idea to get off them . In my opinion shes a horrible person stay away from her and all pain clinics

I was referred to this doctor fo palliative care. I am a 65 year old liver transplant recipient with extensive complex medical issues. I had spinal surgery performed that went wrong due to a misdiagnosis and rushed surgery. I was left with spinal cord injury which affected my entire health. Loss of all sensation to my extremities, kidney damage, intractable pain, paralysis, etc. Dr. Childers not only did not examine me or cared to read my history was one of the rudest, cold, and condescending doctors (common with UPMC pain doctors I have EVER been exposed to. Not only did she not perform her advertised specialty she did not even perform an examination. She is earning her salary running a drug clinic under the guise of palliative care. She was very uncomfortable that my son was present in the room as a witness. She violated everything a doctor is sworn to uphold as far as patients care goes.
