Hubby found this hotel just searching online. We stayed here for two nights on our 25th anniversary trip! I wish we couldve stayed two weeks!! It was gorgeous, clean, silent in the rooms, great blackout curtains, live pianist in the lobby one night, very helpful staff, a super cool antique letter drop for my postcards, and close to amazing places to visit and eat! I hope we have occasion to stay here again!! Rooms: Rooms were absolutely exquisite!! Walkability: Very short walking distance to lots of places to visit and eat! Noteworthy details: Has the coolest antique Mail Drop from each floor to the lobby!

Sold my house and had to move out quickly. So after being in a motel for a while to save money in between buying in cash another property, I decided to treat myself to a stay at the new York town hotel. amazing rooms, fabulous bathroom, great service, a staff that will pay attention to your every needs down to the last detail, my only complaint was the hotel did not have long extended stay items like a large microwave, small fridge for sweet goodies! Now maybe they do have family type suites that I do not know about! My other complaint was there was no swimming pool. But the decor was in fact lovely, maid service excellent, incredible roof top bar to die for! And, yes very good breakfast ! A cool bar down stairs for endless drinks and fun with cool bartenders! I ended up getting out bid on at least 5 properties which was frustrating! However, my two week stay at the new Yorktown hotel was worth every penny I spent! If you come to York Pa it's the best hotel in town! Walkability: Everything is near by! Restaurants, bars, and cool shops!!!!
